The West Rim of the Grand Canyon is easily accessible from Las Vegas (a two-hour drive) or the Phoenix-Mesa area (less than four-and-a-half hours’ drive). From Grand Canyon West to our Peach Springs location on historic Route 66 (or the other way around), it’s less than two hours. From Las Vegas

(116 miles, 2 hours)

  1. Head northeast on N Las Vegas Boulevard toward E Ogden Avenue. (0.2 mile)

  2.  Turn right to merge onto I-515 S/US-93 S/US-95 S. (19.6 miles)

  3.  Continue onto US-93 S. (5.4 miles)

  4.  Use the left two lanes to turn left to stay on US-93 S. (47.9 miles)

  5.  Turn left onto Pierce Ferry Road. (28.8 miles)

  6.  Turn right onto Diamond Bar Road. (14.3 miles)

From Peach Springs, AZ to Grand Canyon West

(122 miles, 1½-2 hours)

Note: Some GPS and smartphone devices will suggest that you take Antares Road. That road remains rural and can be subject to flooding. We strongly recommend that you take Stockton Hill Road.

  1. Head west on AZ-66 W/Historic Route 66 toward Diamond Creek Road. (43.1 miles)

  2. Turn right onto Thompson Avenue. (1.8 miles)

  3. Turn right onto Marshall Drive. (0.5 miles)

  4. Marshall Drive turns left and becomes Jagerson Avenue (2.3 miles)

  5. Turn right onto Pierce Ferry Road. (7 miles)

  6. Turn right onto Diamond Bar Road. (15.5 miles, 20 minutes)

  7. Merge onto Buck and Doe Road (4.7 miles, 7 minutes)

  8. Destination will be on the left.

From Phoenix

(254 miles, about 4-½ hours)

  1. Get on I-10 W. (6 minutes, 1.7 miles)

  2. Continue on I-10 W. Take US-60 W, US-93 and I-40 W to Stockton Hill Road in Kingman. Take exit 51 from I-40 W. (2 hours, 51 minutes, 190 miles)

  3. Continue on Stockton Hill Road (41.4 miles, 50 minutes)

  4. Turn right onto Pierce Ferry Road (7 miles, 12 minutes)

  5. Turn right onto Diamond Bar Road. (15.5 miles, 20 minutes)

  6. Merge onto Buck and Doe Road (4.7 miles, 7 minutes)

  7. Destination will be on the right.

From Grand Canyon West to Peach Springs, AZ
